We were on our way to Big Hole Battlefield and I noticed Crystal Park at a rest area we stopped at. It said that it was a recreational mining park where you could search for quartz crystals. We decided to take a short side trip and visit the park. We didn’t find much, but that wasn’t surprising because we were totally unprepared! Others that we talked to had much better success. It would be a fun place to go back to with the right tools.
